Helping to make art organisations “opportunity ready”.

Growth is best exemplified by new programmes that have provided a space for knowledge transfer, skills development, and training within the cultural and creative sector, helping to make arts organisations “opportunity ready”. In this mix are the DAC Debut Programme, Creating Opportunity for South Africa’s Youth (COSY - in partnership with the British Council, LifeCo UnLtd South Africa and Digify Africa, and funded by the EU), the Scale-Up Programme (supported by Rand Merchant Bank and British Council), Strengthening DAC Entity Councils (supported by the FirstRand Foundation), and the BASA Supporting Grants programme.

BASA offers diverse programmes to support growth, knowledge and skills development to creatives, to enable them to effectively engage with business.
