Media Partners
Business and Arts South Africa has initiated a passionate and assertive marketing and publicity campaign to drive recognition of businesses, arts organisations and the beneficiaries that they serve. Through its media partners, BASA has been profiling some of South Africa's most exciting arts projects and business partnerships.
The Business of the Arts on Summit TV
This joint initiative looks at business-arts partnerships and related issues. This programme introduces viewers to key champions of the arts, artists, and projects. Importantly, it highlights support of the arts by the private sector. The Business of the Arts is broadcast on DSTV Channel 412 on Tuesday (18:21), Wednesday (22:52), and Friday (20:31) .
Create on SAfm
BASA features business and arts stories on Create, a feature on SAfm, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12h50 12h53 and a repeat on Saturday morning at 07h50.
BASA Today and Newsflash on Radio Today (1485)
Arts projects and business sponsors are featured on BASA Today on Radio 1485 every Sunday from 11h00 to 12h00 and on BASA Newsflash - Friday evenings at 17h45 with business presenter Michael Coulson. The station is broadcast nationally on DSTV Channel 160.
OFM Kultuur Kruiwa
The OFM Kultuur Kruiwa programme, in association with Business and Arts South Africa offers members an opportunity to feature on this programme, broadcasted to central South Africa every Thursday 11:15 am, on OFM.
Ilanga Newspaper
Edmund Mhlongo, writes a monthly column in the Ilanga Newspaper covering industry standards as well as promoting the activities of Business and Arts South Africa and its members.
