Le Canard in Sandton brings you another innovative dinner production that is not to be missed, this time with a rare and sophisticated beer-pairing evening, with a seven course gourmet dinner: cuisine à la bière.

Hosted by Anton Erasmus, Senior Trade Brewer at SAB Miller, you are invited to tour the fascinating world of the best brews. Enjoy Grolsch, Holland’s finest, paired with a trio of fresh fish to enhance the crushed sea-salt aroma of the beer. The creaminess of Italy’s Peroni with butternut and toasted truffle crouton soup. Can you perhaps taste cloves or bubblegum in Märzen Gold?
Or honey and malt in Pilsner Urquell, paired with glazed duck?
Your senses are to be informed and delighted!

Added to your sensory extravaganza is live entertainment from the Ensemble Borsolino, with Jazz, Afrikaans, Kletzmer and Tango. The Ensemble, directed by renowned maverick Rian Malan, performs romantic tangos, unashamedly classic vastrappe and ravaging gypsy music. Strings and percussion are sure to put the ambience for the soirée in “full swing”.
